COST Action A24 “The Evolving Social Construction of Threats” was actively running from November, 2003 till January 2008.
Main objectives
Improve our understanding of the social construction of threats Develop tools for constructivist analysis of insecurities Relate knowledge and tools to non-academic users Develop networks between younger and senior scholars

The social construction of terrorism The privatization of insecurity Critical approaches to security in Europe Security, technologies of risk and the political Human mobility and the constitution of insecurities Proliferation of weapons of mass destruction The resurgence of geopolitical thought in Europe after 1989
